Verizon Mobile Service

Have you ever seen the commercial where there's a man who's talking on his cell phone, he takes five steps and asks, "Can you hear me now?" Or maybe you've seen the one where there's some type of meeting out in the fields with some unsavory characters, and one man says to the other "I told you to come alone," the camera pans behind the other man and there's a crowd of thousands, and he replies, "Oh, they're just my network." If you've seen those ads, then you already know a bit about Verizon.

Verizon Wireless is one of many mobile service providers across North America competing for your business, but aside from their amusing commercials, how are they different from all the other providers out there? For one thing they offer a 'test drive' program.

No, you don't take a phone around the block with a sales rep standing over your shoulder. For 30 days you can 'test drive' the Verizon Wireless network while remaining with your existing provider, and at the end if you are unsatisfied, Verizon will pay for your airtime. Not bad, considering Verizon isn't the only company boasting about their network. Verizon is, in fact, the only company to offer the 'test drive' program.

'Here for You' is the popular slogan of Verizon. By offering the 'test drive' program they are proving it. They're not joking about they're network either. A dropped call is a relatively unheard of term within the United States where Verizon Wireless controls a mean percentage of the cell phone market.

While not offering the edgiest phones like some of their competitors, Verizon remains a leader within the cell phone industry by offering something much more important. What good is the 'Cadillac Cell Phone' (not on the market yet) with the giant speakers and grill on the face plate if you can't offer a reliable service at an affordable rate.

One of the most common comments on Verizon is in regards to their dependable service. Would you spend thousands on commercials like they have unless you could back it up? I don't think so, and neither do they. When it comes to a mobile service provider in North America, Verizon is ranked among the top ten for reliability and for overall product dependability. Don't believe what you hear? Take the 'test drive' program and find out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
