Recently, the company has launched Flycell 2.0, a new digital entertainment destination to provide consumers with audio, video, and interactive content they desire. Rich with new content such as on-demand video programming, MP3 quality ringtones, and interactive applications, Flycell 2.0 is set to function as a new groundbreaking site featuring mobile content.
All music, games, video and other content will be available via subscription to Flycell's new 'Club Pack' which brings all of Flycell's digital entertainment together in one package. For low monthly fee, subscribers receive 20 credits to purchase any content that can be utilized online as well as on their mobile phones.
Flycell 2.0 has been designed to target the 14-25 year old demographic with a modern, slick look that is easy to navigate and more consumer-friendly than other digital entertainment destinations. Flycell's 'Locker' allows subscribers to store downloaded items on Flycell.com for future use, such as transferring content that was on a lost or old mobile phone to a new one, which serves as a back-up function unique to the industry.
Flycell's future plans include the roll-out of a full blown mobile and online community where users will have access to free dating features, sharing of user generated content, mobile games competitions, GPS-enabled location-based services, as well as original, on-demand video Webisodes and mobisodes from Flycell Productions.
"The new features that are part of Flycell 2.0, as well as those we plan to roll out in the future, create an optimal experience for our subscribers, that will make Flycell a sticky destination that consumers will want to visit multiple times per day," said Wiley Mathews, Flycell's director of mobile services. "These offerings will teach our subscribers how to have fun with their mobile devices, converting them from casual consumers of digital entertainment to Power Users of the Flycell platform."
In order to promote the launch of Flycell 2.0, the company is putting on a 'Mobile Million Sweepstakes' By entering, subscribers can play daily for the chance to win a variety of prizes, including a Nintendo Wii, iPod Nano, Bose Headphones, Nintendo DS Lite, and a grand prize of $1,000,000.
